Do you really understand how to do these problems?

350 is 70% of what number

is =

of means multiply.

One way to do the problem is to write out the equation based on the sentence
350 = .70 (n)

Divide 350 by .70 you will get 500

Another method is called IS over OF

350/n = 70/100

cross multiply and solve for n.

In the end, with this site is just a tutor gone wrong. Ms.Sue answers questions, you're all just angry at her because she doesn't directly hold your hand and serve the answers to you on a platter. I poke a fair share of fun at her, but good LORD give the woman a break.

Rainy, understandable, but calling child mere child 'lousy' and implying she guessed is a bit much, she could've actually tried her best, and she needed help. There's no reason to call her lousy and assuming things you have no proof of.
As much as I agree that teachers don't need to give you answers, but they should at least offer as much help as possible. In this case, she simply said it was wrong and went on with her day.
I understand that there's lot of other kids asking for her help, but she could've at least taken a couple minutes out of her day or night to explain how she could've done it.
What Ms. Sue, said was just boarder-line just mean, and disrespectful.
There's plenty of other different ways of saying it, such as. "All your Answers are Wrong, but If you need help, I will gladly assist you in this subject."
I'm sure Ms.Sue has her reasons, but the last thing you should do is kill a child's self esteem. It wasn't necessary to go that low just because Mary got her answers wrong, and not even offer to help.
It could just be someone acting as Ms.Sue, which in fact is pretty sad. Ms.Sue is having her reputation torn to shreds because of people doing things like this, but that's just how I feel, and if you agree with it or not is up to you.

Guys- Ms Sue passed away a year ago... This is really disrespectful, i've seen people give her death threats...
