adjacent angles need one side in common So, ∠CBX and ∠FBC
(or, to see it more easily, ∠CBX and ∠CBF)
#2
No diagram, but if they are alternate interior angles, they are equal.
#3-#6
No diagram. How do you expect any help?
#7
7*180 = ?
#8
360/8 = ?
#9
85+110+135+95 = 425
3(180)-425 = ?
#10-11 No diagrams
If you want help, rather than just the answers, it would be nice to show how far you got, and maybe to explain the diagrams. It sounds like these diagrams would be rather difficult to describe, so good luck there.
I suggest you talk to someone in person, especially if you truly have no idea how to proceed.

I would trust the one lady that said she was the teacher because I did but I went with my instict and chose for number 2 that it was actually c so your welcome.
The answers on date 2/1/17 are
1. Which angles are adjacent? B
2. Find the sum of the interior angles of a nonagon.C
3. The measure of < 3 is 101*. Find the measure of <4. A
4. Find the measure of each interior angle of a regular polygon with 12 sides. B or 150*
5. Find the measure of a pentagon measure 85*, 110*, 135*, 95*. Find the measure of the missing angle. What I did was find the comple interior angle sum and then added all of the FOUND numbers together. Finding that it was 425, I subtracted that from 540 resulting in the answer, A or 115*.
6. If A and B are parallel lines and m < 3 = 128*, what is the measure of < 8?
C, or 52*
7. Identify the pair of angles as corresponding, alternate interior, both, or neither. I orinionally chose "neither" as my answer until I read about alternate interior. The answer is D or alternate interior.
8. Is line L parrael to line m? EXPLAIN. Then it states that it is NOT drawn to scale so look at the degrees. They are different and the lines are NOT parrael! It is answer c, or No; corresponding angles are not congruent.
9. It's the one about the Q and the S.
I guessed on number 9, so I went with the answer the teacher lady gave and the answer is B.
10. Classify the triangle by its sides and angles.
The answer is D, or scalene acute.
11. (If you're in a different state besides Washing ton it may be different there are 12 questions in my test read carefully)
Identify the sequence of transformations that maps quadrilateral ABCD onto quadrilateral A"B"C"D". The answer for that one is C, or enlargement; reflection over the x-axis.
12. To describe a sequence of transformations that maps triangle ABC onto triangle A"B"C", a student starts with a reflection over the x-axis. How should the student complete the sequence of transformations to a map triangle ABC onto triangle A"B"C"?
I am unsure if I got this essay question right. All I said was to translate 2 units to the right then translate 6 units up. Don't quote me on that it may be incorrect.
Make sure to read all of the questions carefully, if you don't agree with any of my answers please go with your instinct. One struggleing student to the next <3 connections academy lesson 5 unit 1: geometry pre algebra.

Ok listen I'm tired of people saying Taylor is wrong and Kat is right, or Kay is wrong and Taylor is right, LOOK AT THE QUESTIONS POSTED IN THE FIRST PLACE, there's 12, does it look like Taylor has 12 answers? No, his answers are for an entirely different assignment and you kids that got the answers right from him are lucky because your on his assignment not this one, you searched for the first question in yours it was similar to this one, so you clicked on this one and found this answers, pay attention and you would realize your on the wrong one, but your too dumb to do your own work, and so silly you can't even cheat properly

So wait, I'm on Lesson 5 (Polygons and Angles), Unit 4 (Geometry). This entire post is a mess and I don't think anyone could ever understand any of this.
I'll tell you what guys. If any of you are at Lesson 5 (Polygons and Angles), Unit 4 (Geometry) with 10 multiple choice questions and the eleventh question being an essay... AND YOU GO TO CONNECTIONS ACADEMY in EIGHTH GRADE...
I will take the test using.... Grays answers.
Later I will come back and post the correct answers.
Sound good? I've already clarified for which quiz SPECIFICALLY so please don't ask about it again.
Hopefully you get some clarification here instead of this insane mess of a post.

I just have to say something. You guys are awesome for helping, even if it's sometimes wrong because of how teachers change the quiz. But unfortunately i got a 2/11 which brought my grade down to a D. It's very hard for me because I need to get all A's and B's to go to highschool. It will take me a while to bring that up. But you all need to know something. We shouldn't be so hard on each other. Some of you guys are saying very hurtful things to people. ANd ThEy WeRe OnLy TryInG tO HelP. saying things like that gives people depression and anxiety which does not solve anything. So please. Pray for peace in mind.

I just took the (for me anyway, a connexus student in 8th grade) Unit 3, Lesson 5 Quiz Polygons and Angles legit, and I read every single frickin answer on this trainwreck of a post, and most were wrong, but @Kat and @me were the ones that I used, and I legit got 11/11. I hate people who lie with people here. Just don't do that, Please. I'll put the answers below, but yall are just messed up af.
1. Which angles are adjacent angles? B, or <CBX and <FBC
2. Find the sum of the interior angles of a nonagon. C, or 1,260. (but seriously, yall can just google this.)
3. The measure of <3 is 101. Find the measure of <4. A, or 79.

you guys... if you want answer's for a unit test you can't just put 1 = A and crap because they change the answer's places sometimes, so you have to be more specific so people know the EXACT answer.
for example: put 1 = 22 instead of 1 = B
for example: put 1 = 22 instead of 1 = B

So listen to Kat if you have 12 including essay and follow a hoovy or whoever posted answers with only 10 multiple choice questions if you want 100s. I don't get why it was so difficult to understand but please don't lose your heads going crazy over simple stuff.

This all looks like maybe we have more than one version of the same test. We just got my daughter's back and she had all the correct answers. Hers matched Kat. She is 8th grade Connections Academy, Algebra Readiness.
What I like to do is find the right answers and compare them with her work before we turn it in so that I know if I am teaching her math correctly or not. If her answers are all wrong, then I know we did something wrong and we redo the lesson. If her answers are all or mostly correct, then I assume we figured it out correctly. So I appreciate those of you who post the correct answers to help me be a better learning coach. For those of you who are just looking for quick answers, please at least try the problems on your own first, so you are still learning. :)

Well, I can, personally, say that a few of the answers were correct. At least for my grade. If you are in the 7th grade, Gray, should be correct, and if you're in the 8th grade, Kat or Taylor is correct. I, honestly, suggest you not be stupid and cheat. Use this website to check your answers, not to cheat off of others. It's rather foolish if you ask me. If you get caught, you're breaking the honor code, and I don't think anyone would want to have detention, or a call to your parents. And, before you say, "But you're on this website in the first place," I'm on it so I can check my answers, therefore I am doing nothing wrong.

Okay. First of all. Everyone here is cheating, and you are going to fail. Connexus can track your web browser and see what sites you are going on. They also check this website. Second. Do not curse here. This is a homework website. This is a place to get help, not to curse or cheat. Third. Good luck failing math!!

I don’t believe they do track your browser as you say before if so I would have been banned a year ago :) and even if f that where the case I use my phone and do my work on my pc sooooo good luck with that I guess. Also why did you bother scrolling so far down if you weren’t here for answers? Did you simply just reply to make others feel bad or something (btw telling someone not to cheat won’t work). You must have a lot of free time if that’s all you had to say.
Also I don’t mean to be rude I’m just stating my opinion;)

Be careful of these lists of answers without explanations. Sometimes kids deliberately post wrong answers. Sometimes teachers and/or test publishers mix the questions and answer choices up. Sometimes they change them completely!

Ok so listen, 2021 and all of these are correct. I got a 10/11 because i didn't put C for number 8. Idk about question 12 yet but the rest are 100% right. ( I also copied all the answers from ME so yea)
The answers on date 2/1/17 are
1. Which angles are adjacent? B
2. Find the sum of the interior angles of a nonagon. C

Y'all this is so dag on funny. It took me like 30 minutes to scroll all these comments and y'all just are insane. What do you guys not realize? If you have 12 questions on your quiz, use Kate's answers,. I copied down Kate's answers and found that there was like 15 other post in the thread that had the same answers. So I would go with that. HOWEVER, if you only have 11 questions INCLUDING SHORT ANSWER then I would do the one that has 10 multiple choice. So please, instead of wasting time (like I did) and just getting furious and insane, acting like a straight psychos(like most y'all did) count your questions. Then find the answer that fits your amount of questions that has the best votes. Hope this helps. For me Kate answers worked. Also do you realize this thread is about to be going on for like 6 or 7 yrs. That's crazy. But please, save yourself the madness, fury, and confusion. Count your questions and if you the see the one that fits you and that is highly voted on - I would copy it down and compare with the other answer for YOUR TEST ( so don't copy the 10 answer multiple choice to the 11 answer multiple choice or vice versa, compare the 10 answer multiple choice to the other 10 answer multiple choice and the 11 answer multiple choice to the other 11 answer multiple choice- so that you get the right sense. Just use your brains. I understand polygons and angles might be difficult, but at least use your brains to count (Who knows that may be too hard for some of your all, lol) Now I've spent an extra 15 min trying to teach teenagers to act like teenagers. Well hope I've helped. Have a great day, bye.
I know you love the name. I made it up.

Try the problems on your own, use resources provided to you by your teachers. Many (if not ALL of them) have a Message Board that contains recordings that show you how to do each quiz problem! The good thing about trying them on your own is that the mistakes made are YOUR mistakes, not someone else's. Mistakes are a great way to learn math. At Connections, you can fix mistakes and get all of your points back!
