Well I think it is either Bel or Re because Isis and Orisis were husband and wife and that means if it was their son I would have to pick both of them which I can't do.
Writeacher Why Don't you just shutup.
Then what are you? I see that you're here so you had to google the question and I doubt you would take that much time to go out of your way, just to down someone.
Accuracy? (not sure why it has no 'r' or 'y', though)
Genus Species ( You can just search for "Scientific Name" in Google to get more information )
You need a common denominator. Make the common denominator 24, because both 8 and 6 can fit into 24. 7/8 = 21/24 5/6 = 20/24
(A) 186,000*60 = 1.116 X 10^7 miles (B) 93,000,000/186,000 = 5X10^2 seconds
(A) 186,000*60 = 1.116*10^7 miles (B) 93,000,000/186,000 = 5*10^2 seconds

21y^2-2y or y(21y-2)
CORRECT!!!
Oh sorry, I jst wrote the answer and did not tell you how i arrived at it which means you wont learn from it to solve similar problems so here's how i arrived at my answer: First, multiply the terms inside the bracket by the one outside. So it'll be: ((7y*3y)-(6*3y)) + 16y = (21y^2 -18y) + 16y Then, you open the brackets and simplify like terms: 21y^2-18y+16y = 21y^2 -2y or you can decide to bring out the common factor, then you answer will be y(21y-2)
If 4 stamps cost $1.84, the you will divide $1.84 by 4 to get the price of 1stamp: So, $1.84/4 = $0.46 If 1 stamp costs $0.46, then multiply it by ten to get the price of 10stamps: $0.46 x 10 = $4.6 Now try this and see if you understand the question: Janessa bought 12 oranges for $14.4. At this rate, how much would 25oranges cost?
Log (32) 2 = 5 Take the number at the bottom of the log and raise it to the power of the number after the "=" sign. So 2^5 = 32. So what do you think the answer to the next question will be?
Good job!!!
THANKS BIG HELP!
If I post does that mean i can read other's opinions?

Dear Reiny! U r a life-saver! Is there a short cut to how can I set the question or change word problems into math one? It seems that this is my problem! Also, why did my way worked as well with different answers? My answers satisfied all equations as well. Many thanks.
Thanks leslie :)
Many thanks Reiny!!
bah
I am sure we attend the same school and the class and the book is so upsetting to read because it just dances around the subject and the answer. I thought it was just me but I hate this class
You threw away the outside and cooked the inside. Then you ate the outside and composted the inside. What did you just eat? Corn on the Cob. - but you really should compost the outside too ;)
Im sorry I am new to physics this is my first year and I still have no idea what to do for this problem. The other two that you answered I had them correct before you answered them and was using it as a check. When I reworked them your way, I got the same answer. However on this problem, I am at a loss because I feel there is not enough data, and I am obviously wrong. I worked it differently than u said and got 12.4 seconds, which sounds wrong. Please help!
Order of opperations or PEMDAS. Parenthasis, exponents, multiply, divide, add, subtract. In that order. For this problem, an exponent is inside of parenthasis. So if you want to solve the parenthasis first, you need to solve the exponent then multiply by 5 and then subtract by one.
Haha thank you so much I feel so stupid haha

My hw says explain why the plot u plotted is correct in between 2 n 3 there are 3 lines and you want to get 2 n 1/6 so I plotted the line between 2 and the line after that can u explain how I'm right ???
Utexas? I hate it too =(
The format came out wrong - the double bond of oxygen to carbon occurs at the first apex.
Thanks! and you do mean that it is 0.0123 moles, therefore I would plug in 3 for M, and 0.0123 for moles so that implies 3 x L = 0.0123 --> 0.0123/3 = L = .0041 L ~ 4.0mL ?
E = k*Q/(r*sqrt(r^2+(L/2)^2) now L/r<1 then L^2/r^2 is approximately 0 therefore take out r E= k*Q/[r*r(sqrt(1+L/2r)^2)] sqrt(1+L/2r)^2)= sqrt(1) E = k*Q/r^2 therefore the answer is point charge ... it goes like r^-2
Isn't it just suppose to be 9.3nc instead of 29.3nC?

Just a note that "fallow" should be spelled "follow". I think the rest of the paper is fine.
Thanks in 8. Grade
I am sorry but I am still confused...
Thanks but how do you do it?
It still did not come out correctly I took cos60=.2/x and got .4 for the distance then did 3*.5*(.4)^2 and got .24 and then did 1/2(.24)(9.42)^2 and got 10.66J which is incorrect...
nevermind I forgot the divide the angle...thanks!
For A- m1v1 = m2v2 (.015kg + .25kg)V = .015kg + 200m/s v = 11.3m/s (1/2)mv^2 = mgh so h=(1/2)(v^2)/g h = 6.5m

I am taking this same course and I can't believe you have just posted the entire test on here when it is an open book test. Did you read anything?
I did that and it still did not come out correctly.
Yes, thank you but as I said, I still can not figure out from what you gave me so maybe someone else will explain better (figuring out the mass of the star that is).
thanks guys

Jman, why were you looking up this question if you already did the test?
#2 is sound deductive. The book says that it is.

Since the force 235 N is at an angle, you want it to be parallell with the ground. To do that you do the cosine of the angle multiplied by the force. So 235*cos34.8 = 192.97 N Using F=ma 192.97=19a so a= 10.1563 m/s^2

1. y=x2 - 16 for maximum or minumum, dy/dx=0 hence 2x=0 or x=0 minimum value of function occurs when x=0 which is y=-16 2.using same principle as above, dy/dx=10x+5 when dy/dx=0 => 10x+5=0 => x=-1/2 minimum value of y= -5/4 - 5/2 + 11 for 3, 4 and 5 use the same principle as 1 and 2

Ok.. so I have done this.. And I´ve got the first questions right.. Made a fool of myself with the degrees of freedom, but now I know better... For the question of foreign/hybrid I got 195.209392 for my first try and got it wrong... I messed up the columns.. I need to pass this test.. please help me out... Also, I get a 90% percent in the chi-test for independence, so my NULL is looking good, is that correct??
I get 75. something for foreign and hybrid.. is that right?? And ok for NULL, meaning INDEPENDENT.. Can you help me with this?
So, is 75.3033 ok for Foreign and Hybrid??
I got that I need the work of solving for x. I'm also supposed to graph it to show my work.
