I need to know about fashion and style during the Heian period. Also, please revise this narrative about a girl during the Heian period. ONly edit if you know what youre doing. this is my final so no fooling please!! thanks so much (due 2morrow) HELP!!! (PS THIS IS ONLY a part of the narrative!!)

First you must cover your whole face with white face powder until your face is pale, or as bright as the moon. Also, add some blotches of red on your cheeks to look lady-like. Next you must take off any eyebrow hair that has grown and paint on a new set. Then just apply a bright red lipstick to your lips.
It’s also very important to keep your hair in a bun, which gets really heavy because we never cut our hair. A women’s hair should always be longer than her own height. That is why I consider myself lucky for being short!
After Shin-ho is done doing all of this, she goes to our closet to get her kimono out. Since there is no special occasion today, her and I will just wear our house clothing. We put on about 9 different layers of regular kimonos and then add an uwagi, which is a coat like garment and a mo, a skirt like garment worn over the kimono.
It does get pretty heavy wearing about 12 layers of clothing a day but we must for that is what all women of our period do. One time, we went to the holy pilgrimage and umma made Shin-ho and I wear 22 layers. Oh the torture!
Since there is not much work to be done in the house, umma makes us practice our calligraphy. “You must if you want to get yourself a good husband!” At this, Shin-ho smiles for this is not something she must worry about too much. I must admit, sometimes I am scared for my sister.
When all this will change, I don’t know. We can’t keep on living like this forever because Shin-ho’s right. It feels like slavery in our own homes. Maybe it will be her who will go to the emperor to speak up for us. Of course that would bring shame to the family but I bet all the youth of our time will be relieved. Whatever happens, let us hope that it be for the best!

This site may give you some further information. Also I would suggest your googling - Heian period, fashion.
