Find the vertex and symmetry of
f(x)=-2(x+7)+6
Please help.

more than likely you meant to type
f(x)=-2(x+7)^2 + 6

for f(x) = a(x-h)^2 + k
the vertex is (h,k)

can you state the vertex of your function following this pattern?
