Well my guess is that if you scare somebody into doing something, it's kinda like using intimidation as a tool. Think of it like a bully, they might scare the friends into doing something wrong. I donno hope that kinda helped

The range is the highest number subracted by the lowest number. 1 3 2 4 5 9 6 the highest number is 9, the lowest is 1....just subtract 1 from 9 and your range is 8 :) I hope I helped
