the slope of the tangent is the 1st derivative
2x + 6 = 6 ... x = 0 ... y = 9
the tangent line goes through (0,9) and has a slope of 6
using point-slope ... y - 9 = 6x
2x + 6 = 6 ... x = 0 ... y = 9
the tangent line goes through (0,9) and has a slope of 6
using point-slope ... y - 9 = 6x
