Answers

mathhelper
2x+3y=4
4x-6y=20

double the first:
4x + 6y = 8
4x - 6y = 20
add them:
8x = 28
x = 28/8 = 7/2

sub into the first,
2(7/2) + 3y = 4
7 + 3y = 4
3y = -3
y = -1
