A chemist needs 70 milliliters of a 40% solution, but only has 32% and 60% solutions available. How many millilitres of each should be mixed to get the desired solution?

amount of the 32% solution ---- x ml
amount of the 60% solution ----- 70-x ml

.32x + .6(70-x) = .4(70)

Now just solve for x
