Suppose the ball is thrown downward with an initial velocity of 3 m/s instead of being dropped at 60m high on a cliff. How far down will the ball be after 1 second? How far down will the ball have fallen after 3 seconds?

v = 3 + 9.81 t (speed DOWN)
d = 3 t + 4.9 t^2 ( distance down from top)
d = 3 t + 4.9 t^2 ( distance down from top)
