How many coulombs were used? That's coulombs = amperes x seconds = 0.45 A x 25 min x 60 sec/min = approx 700 but you need a better answer than this estimate.
96,500 coulombs will deposit (atomic mass/2) grams of the divalent metal. So
(atomic mass/2) x (700/96,500) = 0.222 g
Solve for atomic mass.
96,500 coulombs will deposit (atomic mass/2) grams of the divalent metal. So
(atomic mass/2) x (700/96,500) = 0.222 g
Solve for atomic mass.
