My bob that approach got me a wrong answer. :(
My T is also 1.4. Someone asked me to divide that by 8.6x10^4.
G is the same everywhere. Its the T that we need to input carefully.
THANK YOU FRANK!!

12.7 for Determine the minimum potential that must be applied to a proton so that, on interaction with a hydrogen atom, it can excite the ground state electron to a state of n=4 ]
all i know is how to find acceleration. formula is (f - mu_1*m_b*g - mu_2*m_s*g)/m_b
The time to reach the highest point is tₒ= 2vₒ•sinα/2g =2•20•sin35/2•10 =1.15 s The time for covering the distance to the wall ‚d’ is t₁=d/vₒ•cosα =15/20•cos35= 0.92 s At horizontal distance d from the initial point the ball is at
divide the distance 320 by time 40seconds to get speed. for acceleration, divide this speed by 5.
I didn't get h but for f and g use the formula speed=distance/time and velocity=displacement/time. Time is the same as the one you got in c and d. for distance, the first stone is 24 but for the second stone, its 24+ the upward distance calculated by the
speed = distance /time and time is 35+5=40.
Y=Y-0 +v-0*t-5t^2 solve for t (you will get a quadratic equation so use alphawolfram) I have only solved for stone one as for stone two they havent given much detail. then for final velocity average speed and average velocity seem more or less the same
