Well, I have a question first about the question! por la música = because of the music BUT para la música = in order to hear music.
Next question is were you answering a question when you wrote the first sentence? Writeacher is exactly right in that you would only use one IPOD at a time!
You could answer the last question several ways.
Staying close to the question = Se necesitan dos cientos dólares para comprar un Xbox (or if the question used XBOX, keep that.)
Also, Es necesario tener dos cientos dólares para comprar un Xbox.
