Posted by Megan on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 5:08pm. I just reposted this from the earlier post-
I have two questions about translation. If asked this question, how do I answer it. Cual es tu numero de telefono? I know it is asking my phone number which is 447-7161 but I don't know how to put it in sentence form.
The next question is Que te gusta hacer el sabado? I want to say I like to swim on sabado. Once again, how do I put that in sentence form? Sorry I didn't put accent marks-
Thank you

When you study Spanish, certain words require an accent mark OR they are incorrect. If you don't know how to do that, I need to know 2 things:
a) do you have a PC (difficult) or a MAC (easier) and
b) do you have Windows or not?
Now to your questions:
¿Cuál es tu número de teléfono?
Mi número de teléfono es 447-7161 (or cuatrocientos cuarenta y siete = setenta y uno, sesenta y uno)
¿Qué te gusta hacer el sábado?
El sábado me gusta ir a nadar.
Study the questions and see how many of the same words work in the answer. If the question asks about "el sábado" I would not answer with "los sábados" (for example)
Sorry Lissette did not have the correct answer and clever of you to notice that!

Hola,
I know about the accent marks-I use spanish typeit and do my work in there when I have to type it-sorry about not doing it here
One question, I can only use the words my teacher taught so far in Spanish and I didn't learn ir a nadar for the second one. Can I just put El sabado me gusta nadar.
I'm missing the accent over the a in sabado.
Thank you

Absolutely you should only the words you have learned and are learning. That's how you build on what you know!
