i know but i have the KE and i have the mass but i have to find the speed and i don't know how to do that with the power of 2 and the 1/2
you take your x value - 2 and then you will get your y value
ok lets say that x=32... y=30
cause you take y=32(x)- 2 = 30
y=30
linear
just tell what the peragraph is about... like in a few sentences...

Thank you for that. I will continue trying to figure this out.

Initial observation- is the beginning of your observation and your observation of the whole subject.
Independent Variable- is the variable that you change in an experiment.
Dependent Variable- is the variable that changes due to the reaction of the independent variable. Keep the same.
Control group- is the variable you leave alone to have a comparison of your experiment.
I don't understand how you decide what is increasing or decreasing and how you tell.
yes, it really does help. How did you decided that it absorbed heat? I though exothermic reactions released it.

Can you please check my problem
Thank you
Hi, no I just checked this-all they wanted was what a (-b) qunatity and a negative (h) quantity would do to the parent function- like how it would be written If you had the parent function y = square root of (x)-how a negative b and negative h would affect it

Apply T=T and use uk an us but u must have uk biger than the force
3x=x with x= the quantity the brother has
I used the same equation as you did for average force, but when I divided change in momentum by time of impact I got 444.
averageforce=changemomentum/timeimpact
=(1.80)/(4.05*10^3)
= 444.4
47.6
I think that power is actually equal to the change in voltage multiplied by the current, not just the voltage itself. Or at least that is what my formula sheet says. Good luck! I'm working on the same question
To know what kind of disease/health condition that you may be at risk of.
No, divide 24 by 3/4. remember you need to multiply by the opposite of the fraction so it is 24 times 4 and dived by 3 :)

How do I find the time? How is 90.0 m/s converted to seconds? Isn't that what I need to plug into the quation?

Thank you, I made an 88.2 :)
I have already and the answers I submit is wrong.
If M does not accelerate, then T ≤ μsN I
M will accelerate if T exceed μsN I
The NET force on M (if M does not move) is T C
N equals Mg C
T equals μsN if M remains at rest C
M will accelerate if T exceeds μkN I
Those answers are coming up as wrong too. This problem is really frustrating me. I don't know what else to do.
Can someone please hurry and help me? I don't really understand this lesson. & I am taking a test on it.
Okay thank you!

Is the 1072N=F2?
So F1/2.15E-5=1072N/2.4E-3
F1= 2.15E-5*(1072/2.4E-3)
F1=9.63E10 N
I think I did this right but the answer comes up wrong when I submit it

no i don't see any negative sign in my homework question...
first I did C*bar(x)/x = 0.02x^3+55x^2+1380/(x)
= 0.02x^2 + 55 x + 1380/x
then I differentiate it C*bar*'(x) = 0.4x - 1380/x^2 +55
then I set it equal to zero which gives me x = -137.317 or x=-5.104 and 4.921
I did the solve function with the calculator
sorry actually i got that part which is part a. What I need is part (b). Find the delta(v)
Reiny,
Before you do equals to zero, how did you get 0.04x^3 + 55x^2 - 1380 = 0?
I set
0.04x + 55 - 1380/x^2 = 0
and I got x=-137.317, or x=-5.204,, or x=4.921
if i plus in to the originals i have to plus each x's?
and the minimum average is the smallest number from the result after I plug in the Xs?
It's funny... they're still using this question even now. I have sociology right now and this was our week 7 assignment. Good to know things haven't changed, huh?
I don't think I follow....
3. constant angular velocity
When a rigid body is being rotated, every particle within the body will rotate in the same direction, while retaining its original shape. The omega(angular velocity) will remain the same.
Thank you!
Thank you so much!! It really helped me understand!

c) The intercept of ln v is -0.5ln(LMD) and the intercept of the ln T axis is 0.5 ln (LMD)
Elena, for some reason I'm getting an answer of -3
(8.00 x 10^-12) x (d-x)^2 = (6.00 x 10^-12) x (x^2)
(d-x)^2/x^2 = 7.5 x 10^-1
(d-x)(d-x)/x^2 = 7.50 x 10^-1
x^2-x+0.25/x^2= 7.50 x 10^-1
then I get x = -3
Can you help! I'm not sure where i am going wrong.
• 1 mile=5280 feet
• 1 foot=12 inches
• 5280 X 12 = 63,360 inches in 1 mile
• 400 x 63,360 = 25,344,000 inches in 400 miles (this is how many inches SLC and Reno are apart today.
• 250 x 63,360 = 15,840,000 inches in 250 miles (this is how many inches SLC and Reno were apart 15,000,000 years ago.
• 25,344,000 – 15,840,000 = 9,504,000 inches (this is the difference in inches from current day and 15,000,000 years ago of the location of the two cities).
• 9,504,000/15,000,000 = approximately .6336 inches per year!
