How do you solve this for h?

A=1/2(b1 plus b2)?

This is for a trapezoid, so fine the top length and the bottom length for (b1plus b2) then divide in half for the Area or A

you forgot the h in the original equation, should have been

A = (1/2)(b1 + b2)(h)
then
2A = h(b1+b2)
h = 2A/(b1 + b2)
