why did you label this trig ??
I will also assume you meant
x/(x+3) - 1/(x+2) = x/(2x+4)
then
x/(x+3) - 1/(x+2) = x/(2(x+2))
the LCD is 2(x+3)(x+2) , so let's multiply each term by that
2x(x+2) - 2(x+3) = x
2x^2 + 2x - 2x - 6 = x
2x^2 - x - 6 = 0
(x - 2)(2x + 3) = 0
x = 2 or x = -3/2
