consider the line:
7x+10y-17=0
y=-.7x+1.7
so the slope of the perpendicular line is
m=+10/7
y=10/7 x + b put in y, x given, solve for b, and you have the equation of the lline
y=10x/7 + b
7x+10y-17=0
y=-.7x+1.7
so the slope of the perpendicular line is
m=+10/7
y=10/7 x + b put in y, x given, solve for b, and you have the equation of the lline
y=10x/7 + b
