                hi i was wondering what would be the domain and range restrictions that to the function f(x)=(-1/3)x^2+8, and how to find them, because i don't get it.

    your function represents a parabola opening downwards, with vertex at (0,8)
since any x can be used, the domain is the set of real numbers
the domain would be any real numbers, y ≤ 8
