Just divide through by x^6 and use the regular power rule:
(5-4x^3+2x^6)/(x^6) = 5x<sup>-6</sup> - 4x<sup>-3</sup> + 2
(5-4x^3+2x^6)/(x^6) = 5x<sup>-6</sup> - 4x<sup>-3</sup> + 2
