Can someone please explain how to determine the molar mass of the following


nitric acid(HNO3)
ammonium nitrate(NH4NO3)
zinc oxide(ZnO)
Cobalt chloride(CoCl2)

Look up the atomic masses on the periodic table and add them together to obtain the molar mass.
For example, HNO3, is approximately
H = 1
N = 14
O = 16 and we have three of them; therefore, 3 x 16 = 48.
Then 48 + 14 + 1 = 63.
