Explain how to subtract 7.6 from 20.39: first you line up the numbers by the decimals, then if you need to add the zeros as place holders then bring down the nine and cross out the 3 and make it to a 13 and cross out the 0 and make it nine because you borrowed from zero and zero borrowed from the 2 and make 2 into 1 then subtract 13 by 6= 7 then add your decimal, 9 minus 7 equals 2 and bring down one and you get 12.79
