Solve the following by graphing:
2x - y = 4
2x - y = 6

We can't draw graphs for you here, but, in general, I assume you know how to plot both straight lines and determine the point where they intersect.

In this case there is no solution because the two lines are parallel and never interesect.

2x - y cannot be two different numbers.
