are you sure it wasn't cscA expressed in terms of cotA ?
If so, then
form cos^2 A + cos^2A = 1
divide by sin^2A
cot^2A + 1 = csc^2A
cscA = √(cot^2A + 1)
The way you have it, would make a very messy conversion.
