Question

express y in terms of x \log _(8)y=\log _(2)x
4 years ago

Answers

oobleck
since 8 = 2^3, log_8(y) = 1/3 log_2(y)
so, now we have
1/3 log_2(y) = log_2(x)
log_2( ∛y) = log_2(x)
∛y = x
y = x^3
