find the slope, you should get 15/-3 or -5
then y = -5x + b
but (1,-4) lies on it
-4 = -5(1) + b
b = 1
f(x) = -5x + 1
A neat trick in this type of question is to sub in the point that was not used in the last part.
It must satisfy the equation and it does.
