Donde vive presidente de los Estados Unidos?
My answer: El presidente vive en Washington, D.C.

De donde es tu amigo?
Answer: El amigo es de Colombia.

I know I didn't use accent marks-I will put those in, just wanted to make sure of the answer in correct form.

For the 2nd, since the question is "tu amigo" is better with Mi amigo.
