Physical Science B Unit 4 Lesson 11: Energy of Motion Unit Test Answers ~ Total Questions 13-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. D) Potential energy in the water becomes kinetic energy as it moves through turbines, which turn kinetic energy into mechanical energy that spins a generator, which changes mechanical energy into electricity.
2. A) The acorn’s potential energy decreases as its kinetic energy increases.
3. C) On the return flight, the plane has less kinetic energy.
4. D) 90, 480.6 J
5. A) balloon rising in the sky
6. A) When it was empty, the cart had less kinetic energy.
7. D) when the rocket reaches its highest point
8. A) Most of the kinetic energy in the first ball is transferred to the second ball.
9. D) 661, 068.8 J
10. D) 592, 416 J
11. C) when the swing is pulled back prior to release
Essay-12. The energy that is in objects has a position that has a relation to other objects. Energy, and that's what potential energy is. With gravity that tends to pull you down when jumping and keeping you on Earth, standing on top of stairs has more potential energy with it. So, moving on, the student can investigate potential energy by carrying out experiments and simulations, and analyzing data in a group of classes together.
Essay-13. We want to accelerate the object by applying force to do work. After, the energy that has been transferred to the object is going to move at a constant speed. The energy transferred is kinetic energy, and the mass and speed are achieved. The kinetic energy is then transferred between objects and is transformed into other kinds of energy. An example is animals breeding with different but the same species of animal (and yes I went "there"). (Some of the initial kinetic energy has been transferred and transformed into some other form of energy from that animal.

Trust this...I give the real answers cause of the name I put. I hate not having the answers on here and it takes forever to find some, or you give up and guess, don't you?
