7v-10 given that -9v-9=9 simplify the answer. I do not understand the question, can someone help pls.

<i>Evaluate</i> 7v-10 given that -9v-9=9 simplify the answer.

If that's the case, start with
-9v-9=9
and solve for v.
Substitute the (numerical) value of v into 7v-10 to get the answer required.
