How would i find the average velocity for certain points

finding the average velocity between 0.2 hours and 0.4 hours

object is at 20m at the 0.2 hours
object is at 10km at rest at the 0.4hours

average velocity= (final position-initial position)/timeelapsed
bob for the time lapsed would that be the total time spent?

or am i supposed to subtract both times
