    So you want to set 
log<sub>3</sub>(x+3) + 2 = 0
log<sub>3</sub>(x+3) = -2
by definition:
3^-2 = x+3
x = 1/9 - 3
x = -26/9
    
log<sub>3</sub>(x+3) + 2 = 0
log<sub>3</sub>(x+3) = -2
by definition:
3^-2 = x+3
x = 1/9 - 3
x = -26/9
