What does a powerful country have to offer other parts of the world? Can a foreign country that controls another really make life better for its people?

History has shown time and again that the native peoples lose in this situation.

I think that powerful nations can help countries economically. They can also help them negotiate with their enemies, i.e., Israel and Palestine.
