A concrete block of mass 35kg is pulled along a horizontal floor with the aid of a rope incl5ined at 30° to the horizontal if 5he coefficient of friction is 0.75. Calculate the force required to move the block over the floor

w = weight = m g = 35 * 9.81 = 343 Newtons
friction force = mu m g = 0.75 * (343 - 343 sin 30 ) = 129 N
so need F cos 30 = 129
