Which of the following are solutions to the given equation in the interval [0,2π)?
−√3sec(x)=csc(x)
Select all that are True.
x=π/6
x=π/3
x=7π/6
x=5π/3
x=4π/3
x=11π/6
x=2π/3
x=5π/6
check my answer:
x=11π/6
x=5π/6
thanks

−√3sec(x)=csc(x)
-√3/cosx = 1/sinx
sinx/cosx = -1/√3
tanx = -1/√3, x must be in quads II or IV
the angle in standard position would be π/6 , (30°)
x = π - π/6 = 5π/6
x = 2π-π/6 = 11π/6
You are correct.
