People on this site saying "He or She" in a sentence don't understand that there are more pronouns than that. So when referring to somebody you don't know the pronouns for, use "They/them."
Example:
"His or her answer is wrong."
goes to,
"Their answer is wrong."
This keeps it so people with other gender identities or pronouns can feel welcome and supported, as sticking to "He or Her" can lead to misgendering.

Thank you xsquad! You were a great help! I'm failing science. Ugh!
And don't NONE OF YOU let Answer Man scare you! My mom works with computers, and she knows I use this website and she told me that there is NO WAY Connexus or any other school will know that you are using this site unless you're stupid enough to copy and paste someone's personal answers to the questions that you have to write your own stuff. If we share the answers to multiple choice questions, or make sure no one uses our stuff, then they will never know because they cannot look to see whose IP addresses are using the Jiskha site since they don't own the site. DUH!

Teacupcar THERE ARE ONLY 2 GENDERS!!! God made man and woman which means that they/them is not used if someone is a girl or boy they/them is used on cyberspace so unless someone tells their gender we say thay have the wrong answer but @answer man has man in his name so we say HE has the wrong answer.
P.S. answer man I was just making an example so please don't take offense.

@Goo
Their is more then 2 genders, God made man and women yea, BUT. what about intersexals? people born with both things? (there is also 72+ genders by choice) Now, people don't only go by the basic she/her/hers, he/him/his, if people want they could go by they/them/theirs if they feel more comfortable. girls and boys can go by anything like, neo pronouns. "@answer man has man in his name so we say HE has the wrong answer." you dont know if they go by he/him/his, that could be very offensive to someone. but see i use "dude, bro, man" on my friends that are girls. so @answer man could be a girl. dont go assuming stuff, im not saying your wrong, they could completely be a boy.
2 years ago
@Arlo, TYSM, YOUR CORRECT :D
@Goo, your incorrect
@fv your example was very clear and I appreciate it!!

School is doing a disservice by trying to force kids to memorize, that's not real life. When you become an adult and you don't know an answer, it happens a lot, you use Google or duckduckgo. We should be teaching how to use resources properly instead of doing the impossible. Memories fade, right? So instead use the resources that are available to you and you will be preparing yourself for the real world not some make believe world schools want you to believe. Learn how to balance a bank account, how to pay bills, those things are important not 99% of what they teach in schools. Good luck and hopefully everything works out in the end.

Answer man it’s called helping not “cheating”
And I don’t recommend getting the answers from you.
2 years ago
The fact that people are cheating is cause probably there having trouble studying or not listening In class, which would be more difficult for them to process the answer, since they all have there cameras off You can’t tell if there doing something else, or just playing video games secretly. Let them figure out Which is right and which is wrong, i know because I did this a lot I didn’t pay attention in class and made me lose motivation to go to class, and not pay attention to the speaker. So yeah let these people do what they want and not make them mad just because we’re telling them to not cheat. They won’t even understand and let there pity comebacks out of there mouth. And @Answer man I completely agree as well. I don’t recommended cheating just do it on your own and pay attention in class and study more you’ll get the hang of it if you do.

you ca tell if there correct or not by seeing how many people marked it correct. on the bottom where it says there name, it will let you click the thumbs up or thumbs down. if there more thumbs up then thumbs down then its probably correct. another way to check if there correct is if everyone says they are
