Number of moles of n-hexadane is
100 mL * (0.7703 g/mL) * (1 mol / 226.44 g)
mL and g units cancel
= 100 * (0.7703/226.44) moles n-hexadane
The total volume of the final solution is 100 mL + 2100 mL = 2200 mL = 2.2 L
The concentration of n-hexadane in mM is
100 * (0.7703/226.44) M / 2.2L * (1000 mM / M)
If n-hexadane is your reagent, then this is the final answer; otherwise repeat this type of calculation to find the final concentration of 7-ocenyltrichlorosilane in solution.
The period of a pendulum is 2*PI*(L/g)^0.5, where L = 4 meters; g = 10 m/s^2
The period of the spring is 1/12 of the answer in a)
c: 2*PI/Tspring = (k/m)^0.5
Tspring is the period of the spring found in part b, m is the mass = 0.1 kg. Solve for k, the spring constant of the spring.
The distance traveled is 93.5 * 100 = 93,500. The displacement is 50 m, because he ends up on 50 m away from his starting point; the swimmer's average velocity is 50 m / 4 hr; and the swimmer's average speed is 93500/4h
The total length traveled back and forth in one lap is 50 m + 50 m = 100 m. The swimmer swims 93 of these laps, so he travels a distance of 93*100 = 9,300 m. The total displacement of the swimmer is zero (he ends up in the same place where he started). The swimmer's average velocity is also zero, because he spends half the route going in a positive direction, and half in a negative direction. The swimmer's average speed is 9,300 m/ 4h
How high is a 6 ft ladder?
its A squared b
What's the noun in this sentence?
As he turned to go, he spat speculatively.
i know, but i'm not sure how to solve it, like, if it were in an actual expression or if the numbers were 27 and two fifths...i can't figure out that actual expression to write out or the formula to solve it..
ties in fancy boxes- complete (includes subject and it's adjectives)
ties-simpe (just the one, main noun that the verb is reffering to)
i usually use the a over b = percent over 100 formula... make 2 fractions w/ an equal sign in between, on one, put a over b (in ur case, 12 over 170) and the a "p" over 100...cross multiply and then u should be left with 2 numbers, one next to ur "p", then divide...u get it?
distrivute the negative to the 2 so u get
-6-2=-8
-8=-8

{100[3x(3)+2-66.6repeating]}
{100[3x(3)-64.6repeating]}
this is as far as i got
can you help with my algebra problem?
i got x= 32
That is how far I got on my paper, but my teacher says I need to find the new length and width as well. How would I go about doing that?
Oh,thank you so much so much for your time, i understand now!=)
have an "answering machine" also has call waiting?
acceleration=(v2-v1)/time
the key word is "constant." a=(v2-v1)/t. The final and initial velocity is equal. What does that do to the acceleration if I do not increase or decrease in speed? Plug it into the equation and let's see... a=(300,000km/sec-300,000km/sec)/time
x + x+1 x + x+1 = 20
In the above, where did you get the 1x from? This is what I came out with:
x+x+x+1=20
Thanks!
ok I get it. I got x= 6 now i can go from there. Thanjs much for all your help!
Would the let statements go like this then:
Let x= 1st C.I.= 6
Let x+1= 2nd C.I.= 7
Let x+1= 3rd C.I.= 7
b/c the second and 3rd aren't C.i.s, so...????????
Hang on, it should be 18t not 13t, so then I got t=5, so the answer would then be 8PM, right? Should there be only the one let statement though? Cuold I put 3 lETS?;
LET t=time=5hours
let 18t=mph of 1st ship
let 23t=mph of 2nd ship?
i don't get how to start on this one since it doesn't give how far apart the towns are. Well, there;s only one town- whatdo i do???
yeah, but how do i convey that in the let statements? 7=7, so they aren't consec. integers, right? if so, what do i put instead?
For the let statements- do they look correct?
oh thanks, i forgot it was multiplication, i added instead. thanks so much for that!
I think that electricity is the variable cost.
so is it a?
All right, thank you, I'll go do that now and I'll repost if there's anything I can't find. Thanks Ms. Sue

Thanks again, that was a remarkable site! Before I was on the Merrium-Webster site, but Dictionary site's way better. I found everything I needed!
And what about the subtitle? That also gets underlined? This is for a PowerPoint btw, so does all this still hold true?
Thank you very much! I was having a hard time, since I am new to PowerPoint.
I received an answer on another site that I should italicize. Which is correct?
variables are the part of the experment that change, and constants remain the same
Thank you, Ms. Sue!
oh, ok, thanks
Thanks for checking that. What do you mean do your sentences? I thought I already did them.

sorry, but I'm a tad confused; I get FOIL, but I don't get how you got "(n+1)^2 = (n+1)(n+1) and use FOIL
n^2 + 2n + 1" from just the original equation. Sorry, but would you mind explaining it?
oh, okay! yeah, I really get it now; thanks so much for taking the time to explain it. :)
C=.05x^3+100
i would think u'd have to first convert the pounds to ounces, then divide that number by 7 (days in week)
