how do i prepare a 500g/L solution of ethylene glycol

ethylene glycol is about 10% denser than water , so the solution is more than half water (less than half glycol) by volume
a) fill a container halfway with water
b) measure the appropriate amount of glycol
... based on container size/solution amount
... add to water and mix well
c) add water to appropriate solution volume
you can measure the glycol by taring a beaker and then adding the glycol with the beaker on a scale
remember to rinse ALL of the glycol into the solution
