to be divisible by both 2 <b>and</b> 3, it must be divisible by 6
So the first number past 40 divisible by 6 is 42.
Now just add multiples of 6 to 42
that is:
42, 48, 54, ...

to be divisible by both 2 and 3, it must be divisible by 6
So the first number past 40 divisible by 6 is 42.
Now just add multiples of 6 to 42
