A. A 45kg gymnast launched herself from a vault with a speed of 1.8m/s.she lands upright on the ground 125 cm below at what speed will she hit the ground?
B. On landing she bends her knees through a height of 0.15m. Detained the average force exerted by her legs during the landing
So for a we know the fg is gonna equal 45kg x 9.8. So the w= (45x9.8) x 1.25m. But idk where to go from there because I don't understand how to find v2. And I'm not really sure how to do b.
I appreciate the help, thank you

A. V2^2 = V1^2 + 2g*h.
V2^2 = 0 + 19.6*1.25 = 24.5, V2 = 4.95 m/s.
V2^2 = 0 + 19.6*1.25 = 24.5, V2 = 4.95 m/s.
