A ball is tossed at 10m/s off the top of a 100m tall building. Find its velocity halfway down the building and at the ground.

which direction was it tossed? upward, downward, horizontally?
-50=0+vi*t -1/2 g t^2
solve for time, t.
then knowing time, solve for velocity.
