Vi = 4 sin 25 down so = -1.69 m/s
u = 4 cos 25 forever = 3.63 m/s
Hi = 1.2
h = Hi + Vi t -4.9 t^2
0 = 1.2 - 1.69 t - 4.9 t^2
4.9 t^2 + 1.69 t - 1.2 = 0
t = [ -1.69 +/- sqrt(2.86+23.5)]/9.81
t = .815 seconds
d = u t = 3.63 * .815 = 2.96 meters
u = 4 cos 25 forever = 3.63 m/s
Hi = 1.2
h = Hi + Vi t -4.9 t^2
0 = 1.2 - 1.69 t - 4.9 t^2
4.9 t^2 + 1.69 t - 1.2 = 0
t = [ -1.69 +/- sqrt(2.86+23.5)]/9.81
t = .815 seconds
d = u t = 3.63 * .815 = 2.96 meters
