factor completely

(x+9)^2-5(x+9)-6

x+9=y

y^2-5y-6

(y-3)(y+2)

(x+9-3)(x+9+2)

is this correct?

(x+9-3)(x+9+2) simplify the inside for
(x+6)(x+11)
