a horizontal force of 3 N is excerted on an object while a vertical force of 4 N is excerted at the same time. calculate the resultant force on the object?



3 square + 4 square = 25
so the resultant force will be 25 N

R=sqrt(3^2 + 4^2)
=sqrt(9+16)
=sqrt(25)
=5 N.
