Okay. All of you need to pay reaaally close attention. All those commenting different answers like "omg 100% correct my answer is for sure no doubt correct" need to post the questions they had to answer to. Because you are literally posting answers to questions we dont know about and those taking their answers get them wrong. Post the questions with the answers next time.

1. A citizen's group wants to determine people's opinions about a new road. The members of the group conduct a survey at the largest mall in the city. Which best describes the sampling method used by the citizen's group?

right answer is convenience sample.

2. The town council must decide how to allocate next year's budget. They survey a sample of the town population to determine residents' preferences. Which survey does NOT show bias?

right answer is "Do you agree we should install street lights on Elm Street?"

3. You want to determine what percentage of working adults in your neighborhood regularly ride the bus to work. Which sampling method and survey question are the best?

Go to every fifth house and as the working adults, "How many times per week do you ride the bus to work?"

4. A researcher tags 20 squirrels in a wood the next month she returns to the wood and observes a sample of 12 squirrels, 5 of which are tagged, and a sample of 25 squirrels, 9 of which are tagged. If the two samples are representative of the squirrel population which is the best estimate of the number of squirrels in the wood?

I'll be completely honest here people for one need to stop putting random answers based on what they see, people are quick to take the answers and then come back and judge when they get the problems wrong. No one takes the same assignment so stop judging others.
If you are taking Lesson 7 unit 6 Samples and surveys the answers I got were 1- convenience sample 2.- Do you think we should plant gardens in the park 3. Go to every fifth house 4.- 50 Again enter these at your own risk not everyone takes the same quiz.
