The problem is that the instructor makes it seem as if all that we need to know with regards to describing the society can come from "The Body Social" alone.
So, I guess a reasonable question thereafter might be: what types of society were/are there? This is the first time that I've heard such a question posed.
Thanks

1000?
Thank you!
Are you saying that (3m^(7k)^(-5))^(-3)
is the problem given?
It seems like you're multiplying these together and if that is the case you will be adding the exponents. So, -10 + 5 will equal -5. Since it's asking for the answer to have positive exponents you will just have to show that b^-5 = (1/b^5)
and there is your answer.
Multiply it out then flip your answer. The numerator will become the denominator and likewise.
I think you're missing the question...
1/6 or 1/2x1/3=1/6
i need the answers! i don't have them
so what?
0.4
-10=-1+3n
Thanks alot I really appreciate it
THIS IS A GUESS!!! silent killer means that you might die instantly. If you have a high blood pressure, you might die.
What are some words of wisdom to think about when teaching ELLs?
Thanks so much! I should have thought of the pythagorean therom, but why x^2=70^2-55^2 rather than x^2+(-55^2)=70^2?
using the kinematic equation:
displacement=initial velocity*time+ .5(acceleration*time^2)
delta x= 0*7.8+.5(2.3*7.8^2)
delta x= .5(2.3*7.8^2)
delta x= .5(2.3*60.84)
delta x= 69.966 m
with sig figs your answer would be 70 m
hope this helps!
The scores on a test are normally distributed with a mean of 140 and a standard deviation of 28, what is the score that is one standard deviation above the mean?

Suppose there are two defective items in a pool of five items. You want to test one
item at a time until you identify the second defective item. Find following probabilities
a. You need four tests. (i.e. The second defective item will be found at the fourth
test.)
b. You need at most three tests.
c. Given the second test found at the third test, what is the probability that you
found the first defective at the first test?
It still says its the wrong answer. Let me calculate it again
For some reason its still saying its the wrong answer
Your saying g=9.06
And the answer that I have is wrong
I'm sorry for Aluminum its 0.215 and for Copper its 0.0922
The grams for Aluminum are 2.0e2 and the temperature for Aluminum is 2.2e2. The grams for water is 5.0e2.
Thank you Elena!
Oh never mind I figured it out.
Hey Lijia. I'm well aware that you most likely will never see this, but you're a moron.
Thanks!!!
i had trouble with this problem too
Sorry my iPad did that by itself
Good job!
Thank you!!

Force of gravity=(Gm1m2)/(r squared)
m1g=(Gm1m2)/(r squared)
g=(Gm2)/(r squared)
m2=Krypton's mass=7.1x10^23 kg
r= Krypton's radius=3.3x10^6m
G=6.6726x10^-11 (N x m^2)/kg^2
Plug in the numbers. You should get
28.265875m/s^2
B. is Correct
Answer here
4.5 X 10^-12m

I'm looking for this same question...
No answer
Thanks for replying Steve
I just wanted to ask how did you get p(n) = (n - 107/12)/(n - 100/12) after solving for b and c?
Is my answer correct?
w=(29/1)(2pi/1)
w=~182.2124 rad/min
v=(1.8)(182.2124)
v=~327.9823 feet/min
1. A
2. D
3. B
4. B
Correct answers. Put these in and you will receive full credit.
I suppose tying a tie might work. Would that really take 10 minutes to complete that action though? haha
Thanks for your possible ideas! Maybe drawing might work since that's pretty simple. I'm terrible at drawing but I think I could come up with something with that. Suppose copying a simple drawing would take about 10 minutes.
I deleted a couple of things...these are the individual sentences I have so far...
The enthusiasm I have for my hobby of collecting and cataloguing comic books is why I am applying for the position of Data Entry at DC Comics.
While I was studying as a Library Technician at Fanshawe College, I discovered my love for data entry and filing.
My knowledge of Dewey Decimal came in handy as it helped me to create a comic book cataloguing system which can be adapted for various forms of media.
For the last ten years, I have been volunteering at the Military Family Resource Centre as both Administrative Support and being in charge of the Library Resources.
Five years ago, I noticed that several of the kids who participated in the summer programs at the Resource Centre were doing research on Super-Heroes and comic books in general and I thought to myself, “Since the kids have expressed interest in comic books, why not add a small section to the Library?”
After a discussion with the staff and getting their approval; a Comic Book Library was born.
I am proud to say that with the kind donations of some of my friends at a couple of London's local Comic Book Stores, we now have nearly four hundred issues of different genres for the kids to enjoy!
I know that DC Comics uses a program similar in style to Collectorz. I feel that my unique coding and cataloguing system is what you are looking for.
This is my 2nd revision of Paragraph 1 ...any feedback and suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help! I wanted to ask how did you know that we're supposed to divide (7.2/5.7) and not the other way around?
In this case, would a=-15 and b=3?
I know setting x(t)=cos(t) and y(t)=-sin(t) will make the circle travel clockwise but I'm not sure exactly on how I can make it start at the specific point (0,1)?
Any ideas anyone?
Foist
1/4 mile long and 1/4 mile wide. so he had 16 fields in the beginningng
Thanks for the correction! I understand now
So far I tried to figure out the slope of each secant line:
For x=1 the slope is 1/3
For x=3 the slope is 2-sqrt(3)
For x=5 the slope is sqrt(5)-2
Any ideas?
I'm not sure either. But I think it is more of a hypothetical question because another question asked me:
"What is the limit of f(x)=7 as x approaches pi?" and that answer was 7.
Alright thanks, just wanted to double check because for some reason my teacher only allows us one attempt on each question on our online homework. Life is so unfair.
Anyone?
Got it, thanks for the help!
$20.00-$9.50=$10.50
The customer will receive $10.50 in change for paying a movie ticket at $9.50 with a $20.00 bill.
Aren't we supposed to multiply 50.0g by 0.001? Where did 1E^-5 come from?
I see, this was a lot simpler than I expected! Thanks so much
I understand your math, but where did Oxygen started with 2 of them to be O2? Is it because of the charges?
Any ideas?
Remember we're looking at its validity of a website. Therefore you wouldn't want biased information. Yeah sure the website may be professional looking, but that doesn't mean that it's valid and genuine. You would want up to date and accurate information instead! (Option A)
I would say it's all of those. All of your equipment would be useless if there wasn't any software telling them what to do!
I tried doing some conversion factors and came up with this:
(0.101g Mg)(1mol MgO) |(40.31g MgO)
----------------------
(24.31g Mg)|(1mol MgO)
=~0.167g MgO as my theoretical yield if I had a mass of 0.101g of Mg
Did I do this correctly?
So I can just say for example, plug values as y gets closer to 1 and solve for the function and notice that the function is getting smaller and smaller (negative) and therefore negative infinity?
How did that h on the left right below "subtract" come from??
Yes I know the definition of the derivative, I think I'm just confused on the algebra part.
x+h - 1/(x+h)
Just that left side of the equation is where I'm lost.
It went from that to
h-1/(x+h)
Did that x just got canceled out from the left hand side? Other than that, I can understand and follow the rest of the algebra just fine
.. the minus made the x from the right side which forces those two to cancel out. I'm totally overlooking this problem than it needs to be. Thanks for helping me clarify a rather simple problem!
At first I said x=-3 but that is a vertical asymptote, not a vertical tangent. Where does this graph have vertical tangents in this case?
Or near x=2, that was pretty easy, can't believe I didn't spot it at first
Any ideas?
Btw, KHP is Potassium hydrogen phthalate
C8H5KO4
Yes I know the formula of molarity M=mol/L but the volume of water is not accounted for in this calculation specifically since the volume we're using is the volume of NaOH solution dispensed into the flask. Therefore, water shouldn't have an effect on the molarity of the NaOH.
DrBob222 you're exactly right on 2! Sorry my teacher didn't really clarify exactly what was being asked but I took on the question like how #2 is stated, and therefore said that the molarity of the NaOH wouldn't be affected by the amount of water added prior to the reaction.
Finally figured out, simply plug the given x value into the original equation!
This leaves with
dy/dt=12(-.75/8)
dy/dt=-1.125
dy/dt=-9/8
It looks like it's the same answer, but how we got to it was different. With your equation, that's what I would take on for this lab, but my chemistry teacher warned us a million times to NOT do it that way, don't know why, but she wanted us to do it the way I described above, more confusing in a way, but was just double checking if I'm doing it correctly or not, thanks
a) 2
b) 1/2
Maybe my derivative isn't correct in the first place? I used the quadratic formula to solve for x and got x being equal to -1 but when I plug that into the equation I get 0/0, which certainly means I'm doing something wrong. Any ideas?
Any ideas anyone? I need to have this turned in by tomorrow, any help is greatly appreciated
