How about if I put the "H2O" above the arrow, and wrote NaNO3(aq) as my answer, would that be correct?
Where did NaNO3 + HNO3 come from?
Hi DrBob222, Can I express it in this form? NaNO3(s) + H2O(l) ==> NaNO3(aq)
I meant NaNO3 + H2O -> NaOH + HNO3 is this valid?
So despite having to shake the test tube for it to dissolve into the water, NaNO3 in this case would be considered as Aqueous?
I don't understand how it turns into aq when its a solid I add into the water, isn't only the products turn into aq?
Is this correct though? NaNO3(s) + H2O(l) = NaOH(aq) + HNO3(aq)
Do I have to put it, or can I just leave it out?
Then what is the white smoke?
Hi, I tested it with moist PH paper, i think its from the water vapour, what PH was i suppose to get?
thanks!
Hi, for #3 i mean why do we have to heat calcium hydroxide with ammonium chloride?
