what is the change in enthalpy for CH4(g) + 2O2(g)----->CO2(g)+2H20(I) CH4: -74.86 CO2: -393.5 H2O: -285.5 I got triangle H: 890KJ/Mol is that correct?
My guess would be that the unit rate would be something like number of pages per one hour. Does that help? So you would have to find out how many pages per hour.
No, I think 0.6 pages per hour makes sense...if a teacher could comment on this, it would really help.
is that even possible!? did you write the question correctly?
A human's, because it's biggest ;)
No, no I don't understand what you're saying. Could you please explain? Is there not a simple formula that relates volume, pressure, and energy? For example, if I had a balloon with hydrogen gas in it, how would I calculate the amount of energy stored by the gas?
Thanks.
Thank you very much. I think I got it. Can you tell me if the answer would be 8 with 2 gums left over? If not I will try again. My mom by the way is laughing. She didn't think I could find help so quickly! lol ..Thanks for helping me. Emily
Okay I will try again. I was thinking that 6 was the largest number and since the question said what would be the largest number of bags I thought 8 because 6 goes into 48, 8 times and into 60 10 times, which would be 8 bags possible to make, keeping the bags even, leaving you 2 pieces of gum leftover .... but I will try again ... :-( .. thank you. Emily.
'k .. I think my brain is not working .. I don't think other 8 year olds have to do this .. My mother is creating a short circuit. I am confused. I should have gone higher to 12. Thank you for that tip. So would the answer be 4 bags since gum would be too many or would it be 5 bags ... Okay, now that I am thinking, I think 5 bags because I see it says ALL CANDY AND GUM ARE USED, so it must be the higher number. Please tell me I am right and if not then tell my mom this is too hard. She thinks I can do it but I think she thinks too much! lol! Again, thank you for your help! emily
I am confused .. with 64 golfers forming pairs which equal 32, and each pair plays a match, wouldn't that be 32 matches to start with, concluding with 16 winners? ... and that set would form new partners, which would make 8 pairs ending with 4 winners, down to 2 pair with 1 winner ... what am I doing wrong? thank you for your help.
WoW ... You made my day! ... Thank you .. this one gets copied and printed for mom :-) .. (i keep telling her this is not 4th grade math! lol! but she likes to keep me thinking) thanks again, it is great to have people that help us! ... have a great day! Emily
Oh -- I get it! Thank you so much for helping me out, I really needed that info for tomorrow's test. Thx!
Beau is 9 years old Max is 7 years old. You can probably get this by trial and error, but I got it by getting half of 16 (8) and adding 1 to the number and subtracting one from the number, like this: 8+8=16 8+1=9 8-1=7 (1+1=2, the difference of their ages) So, one of them is 9, the other is 7. Get it?
Isn't it called a valley?
Would it be that the plant cell absorbs sunlight to make food for nutrients?
I know, sometimes nobody responds to your questions. Obviously, if you posted this question, this website is for Americans and Canadians. :-)
I would think that the number would have to be positive, so either letter a or letter b would be right...?
Thanks! I've found the scholastic website's flash-card maker works perfectly. And I looked back at the AmericanGirl website after I enabled the cookies for it, and it works now! (after all that wasted typing) LOL Anyways, thanks Writeacher!
Let's say the score of the 5th test her is x. To get an average of something, you add everything up and divide by the number of numbers (in this case, tests), right? So, this is how you would set this one up: 79+88+64+78+x ------------- = 80 5 Can you solve the rest?
Of what?
Luv ya! your southern friend
Oh yeah -- duh! LOL Thanks!
My teacher said something about subtracting the force of gravity (9.8 m/s^2) from the 12 m/s^2. I have no clue. I would love to have one of the online tutors comment on this, too. (please!)
Sorry! I don't know that answer. I have a question on my Social Studies homework that is fill in the blank. It says so far...... The final major religious war was the War of the Thirty Years. When this war ended in 1485 a family called the ....... took over the English throne. The first.... king Henry V11 prepared the way for the ..... The dots are what I can't figure out! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you very much! I get it now!

Thank you very much for the advice! This will help me very much. :-)
Doesn't a part of the Constitution talk about police not legally able to enter your house without a warrant?
Thanks! I needed someone to tell me I was on the right track, or I was going to go crazy. I'll make an appointment soon with my counselor. Thanks again!
Never mind, I was on the collegeboard . com website just now reading the course description, and it said it was designed to be taken after a high school level chemistry class.
What is Finite Math?
You can also go on mapquest . com and get specific directions from your first location to your final destination.
Ok, so I should probably take Finite Math my junior year, and then calculus my senior year. I'm almost done with my academic plan (it's taking me quite awhile, trying to match all the requirements of the college systems in my state)! I only have two spaces left for my senior year.
I should probably do that, I don't want to get off track. Thanks Ms. Sue, you've been a GREAT help!!!
how do you do it
5(9-3)+5*4-6= 45-15+5*4-6= 45-15+20-6= 30+20-6= 50-6= 44 I couldn't tell what you were trying to do, so I just solved it on my own. Is this sort of what you were going for?
Oh yeah (oops!), so I figured the phrase Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally (parentheses, exponents, multiplication and division, and then addition and subtraction) the multiplication/division/addition/subtraction is done from right to left. I hope this solves the problem, PsyDAG.
Use the Pythagorean Theorem: a^2+b^2=c^2. So it would be like this: 30^2+b^2=42^2 with b representing the unknown value of the base. 900+b^2=1764 b^2=864 b=about 29.4 Add up the sides: 29.4+30+42=? And that's your answer!
Okay. So in equation form it would look like this: d(3)=((120*25)+(25*40))/500 which equals 8. So the fulcrum would be placed at the 58 cm mark, right? This is exactly what my friend did, I just couldn't remember what he wrote down or how he explained that concept. Thanks for all of your help, Damon!
Oops, I meant the 500g mass is placed at 58 cm. I was thinking fulcrum because of my next problem, and I got the two terms mixed in my head. Thanks again!
It is probably ok, just keep the format consistent throughout your essay.
np :-)
what would be a good slogan for neon? I need an idea for a project. thx 4 helping.
Please can you type about Loligo Opalescens for a report that i need. Please put these in it: Full Classification-KIngdom to species Location Feeding Predators Population-is it threatened or Endangered -Defense Interesting Characteristics Why i picked it References Thank you for my time ,can you do it.
Try your school library or city/county library.
so when they split each parent can give and equal amount. Plus you can have a bckup
the indiduals that have the genes that allow them to adapt to the new ecosytem would survive to pass on their genes.
(3/5)a
I probably read this problem wrong, but wouldn't (a) be a trick question? If you take 15% defected pencils out of however many regular pencils, that particular sample will be all defected, wouldn't it? Like I said, I probably read it wrong, so plz wait for a different answer. :-)
What are you asking?
I would think that it would be Grade One, but I'm not sure. It seems like it would be right.
Oh, okay! See, I got the second step right, I just thought it was way off track. Thanks!
Do you mean polygon? If so, this is how you figure out both: Interior (sum): (n-2)180 (10-2)180 (8)180 1440 Then divide this number by the number of sides. 1440/10=144. Exterior (sum): Since the exterior angle sum of any regular polygon is 360, divide this number by the number of sides. 360/10=36. I hope this works for you!
Oh yeah. I was trying to remember it but I just couldn't get it straight. Thanks!
Use the strategy I mentioned in your later question. If the sum of the exterior angles of any polygon is 360, and one angle is 40, divide the sum by the measure of one angle. 360/40=9. So, this particular polygon has 9 sides.
Thanks SOOOOOOOO much for correcting this!!! I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this.
The extra spaces didn't show up-- the poem is somewhere on the web. sorry :-(
cero
Find the difference between the two. 32cm-25cm=?
Thanks! the second diagram is exactly what I needed!
Um,I hate to bother you again, but I don't think there's a "to retire"in the sentence. Thanks for helping me, though!
Sorry--I was talking about #6
water boils at 100 degrees Celsius, just remember-- water freezes at 0, and it boils at 100. Easy to remember :)
Substitute y in the first equation with the second equation. 10x + 2(-5+ 3) = 7 10x + -10 + 6 = 7 10x - 4 = 7 10x = 11 x = (11/10), or 1.1 Did I explain it well enough? :)
What do you mean "if a shape is whole"?
I thought "was" is considered a verb? (are verbs and actions the same?)
Thanks!! Yeah, we had to write it in some sort of riddle.
Yep, you're right.
We had to use this poem (below) as sort of an example; maybe I should reword the ending to make it sound like less of a riddle. Does anybody have anybody ideas?
Oh ok-- I get it now!
Check out Wikipedia, they have tons of great information!
Whatever info is in the unit. Quiz yourself on vocabulary terms, and if at the end of the unit it has an outline about what was important in the chapter, study that and look back for more info on stuff in the outline.
The dark sunglasses will absorb the heat, and less of the heat resonates back out, so my answer would be the dark glasses. The heat is just reflected back or passed through, not absorbed.
No, because then you wouldn't be able to see through them.
Also, try to look on discoverychannel . com to look for a MythBusters episode related to that (or even on YouTube). They did an experiment related to this.
Bring all the variables on one side, and the constants on the other side. 2(3x-5)>2x+6 6x-10>2x+6 4x-10>6 4x>16 x>4
Another question related to this that I can't figure out is: If you take a photograph of your image in a plane mirror, how many meters away should you set your focus if you are 2 meters in front of the mirror?
Use the Pythagorean Theorem. a^2 + b^2 = c^2 4^2 + 20^2 = c^2 16 + 400 = c^2 416 = c^2 c = sqrt 416 c = 20.4 If you draw a picture, you'll end up with a right triangle, and the two shorter sides are a and b, and the hypotenuse (long side) is c. Do you get it?

Please answer!!!!! :) I have no clue of what this answer is!!
Thank you so much!
PLEASE someone answer this question!!!!!
thanks
there are 7 spaces
If you have a equation how do you transfer that into a table? without using a graphing calculator?
how do you make a table out of an equation??
It wouldn't necessarily be a right triangle, would it?
I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by when you say "increase the diameter by a factor of sqrt 2 = 1.414." Can you please clarify for me? Thank you for helping me even though you're packing for a trip! =D
Oh, ok, I get it now. Thanks for helping me! Have fun on your trip! =D
