When you jump you extend a punching force against the ground gravity pulls you back down why can't a person jump higher on the moon than on Earth
1 answer
The reason a person can't jump higher on the moon than on Earth is because the moon has much less gravity than Earth. The force of gravity on the moon is only about one-sixth of the force of gravity on Earth. This means that the force of gravity pulling you back down is much weaker on the moon than on Earth, so you can't jump as high.
