WHat is the realtionship between the rate at which the spring is moved back and forth and the wavelength?


In other words: what would happen to the wavelength in a spring if it is moved back and forth?

rate*wavelength=constant

and the constant is the velocity of propagation.
if rate is increased, then wavelenght will decrease.
