What causes the clouds to form on the windward side of the mountain? This is my answer I have from what I have read!! The air cooling causes the clouds to form on the windward side of the mountain. When wind strikes the side of the mountain air is forced up. When air rises it cools. Is this correct and enough of an answer??

Yes, it is correct. If you want to say more, mention that, when air with water vapor in it cools, a "dew point" is eventually reached then the gas turns to liquid droplets, and clouds are formed
